August 24 - Good Morning, Vietnam!

Christi arrived in Vietnam for one last detour before returning to the US after a year and a half in Asia. Arriving in the south, she explored the Mekong Delta by hiring a boat to explore the river and its activities in the city of Can Tho.

It was a long ride (6 hour trip!) so my boatman collected some palms and made me all kinds of gifts - this was my favorite.

He bedazzled me with jewels - two rings, earrings and a bracelet. Stylin'!
