August 22 - Back Through Cambodia

When Christi was in Cambodia in April, she made a decision not to go to Vietnam and instead go back to Thailand. But itchy feet and curiosity got the better of her, so after spending July in Burma, she made the trek from Thailand back through Cambodia in order to cross into Vietnam. Going along the southern coast meant she encountered beaches and backpackers and good times. Life can be tough sometimes.

A very fancy train ride (from Nong Khai to Bangkok, 14 hours). Sheets and pillows? Now this is traveling!

A more typical train ride (from Kanchanaburi to Bangkok, 3 hours). Nice views.

And I'm back in Cambodia - yes, this is perfect!

Wasting away in Sihanoukville.

"You want? You buy! Open your heart, open your wallet!"

Soaking up the sun.

Bodhi backpackers in Kampot. Tutu two too crazy guys.

Rockin' some live music, nice!

And a fire show - that's hot.

The view of Bodhi Villa from the train bridge - I could get used to this.

Too perfect.

Some wine time with my girl Kristen from Phnom Penh - amazing woman, good times.

Fancy, fancy and free! I met an amazing woman in Kampot who founded an organization that will rescue sex-trafficked women and she is opening a spa where the women will work and find a new life. Right now, things are still under construction, literally. But she has started training one gal who wanted some practice.
