October 17: Rock Climbing in The Alabama Hills, CA

Morning as I sit and write with Mt Whitney in the background. Here's Chris, a Englishman "we picked up." Actually, Mike, who joined us, had met him in Thailand rock climbing. Chris was on his way back to England after spending 5 years in Australia working... had to stop by the US. Mike... or, that is, Fabio reaching out to you. Mike climbing up after Chris. "I want to come up there, too!" Christi wanted to come up, too... but she's gonna lead it! Go girl! She's going... clipping the next bolt. Nice move! Look at that concentration and determination!
