What does Busan look like in August? Imagine the whole nation of 60 million people all converging on one beach to form an epic wall of humanity. Sand? Can't find it. Water? Where's that? Sunshine? Good luck finding a spot that's not hidden beneath an umbrella!
I visited two beaches near me. Both were crowded, but nothing compares to the throngs of vacationers who swarm to Haeundae Beach. If you like people-watching, a stop here is a must. You'll see it all, from long sleeves and pants covering every inch of skin to oily men in thongs. I'm always amazed by the women who manage to walk in their stilettos in the sand.
Here is a video of the two beaches. While I am glad I experienced the chaos that is Haeundae, I definitely felt more at ease on Seongjeong Beach. I do regret not taking up windsurfing, though!
This beverage cracks me up and I had to buy it. That's Y! What flavor is it? Pink!! Of course! My favorite!
